Teaching tennis requires a constant requirement: to progress, students need high-performance equipment. Sylvain, a teacher at the Rognes Tennis Club, explains to us how his club succeeded in reconciling educational quality and savings through repression.
A perfect rebound, from beginner to competitor
One of the biggest challenges for a tennis instructor is the premature wear and tear of the basket balls. A ball that no longer bounces distorts sensations and hampers learning. At the Rognes Tennis Club, this problem is a thing of the past.
“We saw a real difference in the quality of the balls for teaching,” Sylvain explains. And the machine is not limited to conventional balls: it takes care of all the pedagogical progress by treating yellow, green and even orange balls. Result? Consistent bounce quality for all levels.
The end of waste: A lifespan multiplied by 3
While the educational aspect is essential, the economic aspect is striking. Sylvain believes that the lifespan of the balls has increased threefold. For a club, this represents a massive reduction in the material budget and a strong ecological gesture by avoiding throwing hundreds of balls that are still visually “new” but technically “dead”.
A tool that creates connections
In addition to technical performance, the Bopa machine has become a meeting point for the teaching team.
“It's easy and almost fun. We arrive with our buckets, we fill the tubes... it also allows us to get together and discuss with teachers.”
Towards new services for members
Building on this success on the educational field, the club is already considering the next step: offering individual repressurized tubes for rent for members. A way to offer a premium gaming experience every game, while continuing to enhance the club's ball park.
Sylvain's advice? “Frankly, adopt it! It's a real added value for any club.”
